Workshop: Academic Writing and Publishing

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The morning session will focus on beginning librarians and the afternoon session will focus on experienced librarians.

The goal of this preconference is to guide aspiring academic librarians in understanding how to navigate scholarly publication requirements and be successful academic writers. The presenters will provide tips for beginners as well as for those already engaged in a research agenda. A more detailed outline of what will be covered will be added soon - one of the presenters is a published book and journal author and the other is the editor-in-chief of a major peer-reviewed library journal.
